Rebecca Gerber

Rebecca Gerber joined the University of Minnesota's Technology Commercialization office in 2008 after spending 10+ years in various market analysis, market research and scientific affairs roles within the pharmaceutical industry. While working in pharma, she primarily focused on conducting market assessments and creating financial forecasts for early-stage compounds as well as scientific and commercial message development. Rebecca has held a variety of roles during her time in technology commercialization that involve researcher outreach, IP strategy, business development, licensing, start-ups and investment programs, changes to IP policy, management, and she previously served as the office's Chief of Staff.
Rebecca earned MBA and MS degrees from the University System of Maryland as well as an undergraduate degree in microbiology from Iowa State University.
