New Fall SPECTRUM/SPA Course

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a new Policy for Data Management and Sharing to promote the management and sharing of scientific data generated from NIH-funded or conducted research earlier this year. To help CAs prepare, a new SPECTRUM course is being offered November 7th at 10:00: Preparing for the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy.

CA Program Changes Announced
July 18, 2022
The CA Program has changed its exam and continuing education requirements to ensure the program's long term viability and to better align with the current needs of the University's research compliance environment. Read the June 18 announcement.
CAAC Monthly Meetings Set

Dates for the monthly CAAC meeting are set for the FY23 year. Meetings are held 1:00-2:30pm via Zoom.
Russia/Ukraine Sanctions Notice

The federal government has imposed financial and export/import sanctions relating to the conflict in Ukraine. An overview of the key restrictions is available on the Export Controls website. If CAs encounter any situations involving a party located in Ukraine or Russia, they should contact Pat Briscoe (firstname.lastname@example.org or 612-625-3860) before proceeding.
