Large Animal ABSL-3 Facility

The primary goal for the Large Animal Facility is to provide the resources needed to conduct ABSL-3 research in a safe and compliant manner. The facility will be available to scientists at the University of Minnesota (or their research partners) for studies involving Risk Group 3 agents in animals that can be reared in containment isolators (i.e., no loose housed livestock is permitted in ABSL-3).

For more information contact Neal Heuss (heuss0003@umn.edu) or Aubree Kees (wilke137@umn.edu).
