Physics and Mathematics
Dan Dahlberg , Physics
I came to the University because I heard it would be easy to do research, and I had an interest in doing research since high school.
I am considering going to graduate school and am deciding if research is what I want to do.
I always liked physics as a class. I wanted to explore what a career in Physics may be like in the real world.
I learned to make sure everything is what you expect it to be before you do the experiment. I also learned to make sure the samples are good, to take it one-step at a time instead of doing everything at once and to be sure of what you are doing.
I had an IT scholarship, and Iknew the professor from the IT scholarship. The professor then recommended the research project.
It's a good experience to see if you enjoy doing research and if you want to do it for your whole life. You get to work with graduate students and get to learn what their research is like.
