I am currently applying to medical school. I do triathlons, and I enjoy swimming.

Future Plans

I am going to attend medical school, and have my own practice.

Why Research?

I enjoyed the topic that I chose to do. I gained a deeper understanding of the subject, and how it pertains to a clinical setting.

What Did I Get from Research?

I got a varied knowledge base of my topic. I learned about different research methods and procedures. I learned how research can get applied to clinical studies, and how you can apply your research in a clinical setting.

How Did I Start?

My honors advisor explained the program. Through that I met my faculty mentor.

My Advice For Another Student

It is a great opportunity to meet people in the field. It can open your eyes to new opportunities that you did not know existed before.

Research Summary

We looked at what type of grafting gave the best bone density, functional and subjective results many years following surgery. One graft source had decreased functionality for certain populations.
