Brief Bio

I enjoy art and photography. I also enjoy traveling. I like reconnecting with the environment through gardening.

Future Plans

I will apply for graduate school this year.

Why Research?

It was for me. It was an incredible opportunity for me to work with one of my professors. I got to help her set up her own wing at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. It is going to help me for my own work. We are glad to be bringing research into the art program.

What Did I Get from Research?

I have not started the research yet.

How Did I Start?

She approached me, and she really liked the work I had done in her class. She called me up, and said she needed assistance. She felt my work went well with her work. She then gave me the UROP web address, and we went from there.

My Advice for Another Student:

It is a great opportunity to work with a faculty member you admire, and it is a great experience. It is a great opportunity to get your feet wet before entering into graduate school.

Research Summary

Basically, I will help with the production and execution of her show of her solo show at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. I will be helping with photography and helping with the behind the scenes work. I will be finding out how a professional artist works in the real world. I will see how to get an idea crystallized into a show.
