POSTER GUIDELINES

Poster Guidelines

Maximum poster size: 34 inches wide x 48 inches tall (86.36 x 121.92 cm). If you are printing at either the CBS Imaging Center or the John R. Borchert Map Library, please note their specific printing limitations below.

Push pins will be provided for attaching posters to the display boards. Presenters are expected to arrive about 5 minutes before the beginning of their session and to remain near their posters until the end of their session.

Poster Printing Resources

CBS Imaging Center [Cost: Free for CBS Students, if poster is submitted for printing by 4:30 p.m. April 11, 2008. CBS students submitting posters after April 11, 2008 will be required to pay actual cost, plus a possible rush fee of $10. Non-CBS students will be charged actual cost and are advised to use the Borchert Map Library to print at no charge—see information below.]


Posters printed at the CBS Imaging Center will be printed on paper that is 34" wide x 42" tall. To submit a poster for printing at the CBS Imaging Center, please complete their online form at: http://bass.cbs.umn.edu/hawk/form96.

John R. Borchert Map Library [Cost: Free; Deadline: April 11, 2008]
Posters printed at the Map Library will be printed on paper that is 36" wide and 48" tall. Students may either trim their posters to 34" wide, or leave a 1" margin of white space on the sides. Students will be responsible for trimming the posters on their own. Please submit your printing early. Must be submitted in person, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, and must be submitted by April 11, 2008 (one week before symposium). Students should be prepared to wait approximately 30 minutes for posters to print.
