Eric had over five years of experience in early-stage companies, consulting and working with angel investors prior to joining OTC. Eric has had a number of roles including systems engineering at a wireless communications start-up developing interference cancellation in CDMA systems, as well as successfully developing strategies for new and growing technology ventures.

Eric is an inventor on seventeen issued U.S. patents and an author on a number of published scientific articles.

Prior to joining the OTC in 2007, Eric earned an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Eric also has an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Marquette University.
