Express Licenses Many technologies are available through "ready-to-sign" Express Licenses. These agreements have standard terms and conditions that allow for rapid, low-cost licensing by companies or individuals. The conditions and financial terms of Express Licenses apply only to those who download the Express License for that title, sign it "as is" and return it to the Office for Technology Commercialization.
If the Express License for a specific title does not meet your needs, other arrangements can be discussed. There are minimum financial terms that apply when discussing modifications to the license agreements. Final financial terms will be negotiated between the Office for Technology Commercialization and the prospective licensee. Express Licenses are broken into four categories & listed below.
