RCR/FIRST Help

You need to complete a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) education requirement for PI eligibility. Have you:

Previously completed RCR parts 1 and 2?

You need to complete RCR Continuing Education.
There are 2 components to RCR Continuing Education.

Information Update - required annually

Awareness/Discussion - once every three years
This component will be enforced beginning in Fall 2008 to allow enough time for faculty and PIs to build an activity into their schedule.

Does your research involve humans, but you have not completed any human subjects protection training?

You need to complete Human Subjects Protection training.
