This is the "Information Update" component of the RCR continuing education requirements.
Principal investigators must review changes in regulations and policies
related to sponsored projects within twelve months before the start date
of their awards. PIs are responsible for compliance with all regulations
that apply to their research.
To fulfill the information update component of the RCR continuing education requirement:
1. Review University and sponsor regulations or policy changes that may affect your research. You may
choose to also include updates to topics covered in the core Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) curriculum. Compile a report
by using the following method:
- Select your sponsor(s). Note: The University has over 1200 different research sponsors. Policy
changes are tracked for sponsors that represent the primary sources of funding.
- Click on the "search" button and a new page will appear with the information to review.
- Read the web page.
2. Update your record to show that you have completed this requirement, using the link found at the bottom of the report you compiled.
