Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) core workshops are sponsored by
the Office of the Vice President for Research.
- RCR part 1 is offered as an in-person workshop only.
- RCR part 2 is offered as online workshops. All workshops
must be completed to fulfill the RCR part 2 requirement. For more details, please see Electronic Courses.
RCR part 1 in-person workshops are offered 2-4 times per semester.
The in-person and online workshops can be completed in any order. Part 1 and part 2 are not consecutive.
In addition to the RCR workshops, other courses may be required for eligibility
depending on the nature of your research. For more details, please see Additional
Courses.
RCR core courses (RCR Parts 1 and 2) do not fulfill the continuing education requirement. If you need to complete either of the RCR Continuing Education components, please see Continuing Education.
