| All University Radiation Protections Advisory Committee (AURPAC)
The AURPAC serves as the University NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) license compliance oversight committee. It is made up of two subcommittees: the Permit Review Subcommittee (PRS) and the Human Use Subcommittee (HUS). The PRS reviews all applications for a permit to use radioactive materials at the University, and the HUS reviews all applications for use of ionizing radiation in human subject studies.
