New Appointment for Director of Research Subjects' Protection Programs

The Office of the Vice President for Research is delighted to announce the recent election of Moira Keane, Director of Research Subjects' Protection Programs, to the Board of Directors of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research, (PRIM&R). This is a great honor for Moira, personally, and for the University, according to Tim Mulcahy, (Vice President for Research).

PRIM&R is dedicated to creating, implementing, and advancing the highest ethical standards in the conduct of research. PRIM&R has served the full array of individuals and organizations involved in biomedical and social science/behavioral/educational research for over 30 years.

Members of the PRIM&R community include professionals representing human and animal research protection programs, as well as researchers, institutional officials, government personnel, subject advocates, ethicists, policy makers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology leaders, and attorneys.
