The University of Minnesota hosts a postdoctoral community each year of about 1,000 individuals in 175 units in most of the colleges and professional schools on the Twin Cities, Duluth, and Rochester campuses. The postdoctoral community consists of postdoctoral fellows and associates. Our mission is to ensure successful mentoring experiences for postdoctoral fellows by providing a supportive working environment and resources to prepare them for the next step in their careers.
The mission of the University of Minnesota Postdoctoral Association is to improve the quality of the postdoctoral experience and to facilitate the long-term success of our members. Members include all non-tenure-track postdoctoral appointments including but not limited to Postdoctoral Fellows, Postdoctoral Associates, and Research Associates.
